Join me in this class for a traditional Calabrian dinner. This is your chance to learn how to make fusilli – an eggless homemade pasta shaped with a knitting needle, the traditional pasta of Calabria. We will learn how to make fresh Calabrian sausage flavored with wild fennel seeds, sweet pepper powder, and some Calabrian hot pepper powder. As a side dish another classic dish of potatoes and peppers. To complete the meal, we’ll make one of my favorite ice creams, made with figs and drizzled with fig syrup.
