Cooking and eating can be a total sense experience, engaging to the eyes, ears, nose, fingers, and palate.

This class will focus on the visual appeal of our food and how that plays into our experience of emotional and physical satisfaction. We will rely heavily on fresh, locally grown produce, with the supporting cast of proteins, legumes, dairy products, etc.Image

Our finished dishes will be made from scratch, starting with whole foods as much as possible, to give us a true appreciation for the foods themselves, and the dishes that they inspire. Think hand-milled flour tortillas with a confetti of grilled vegetables and meats, pepitas mole, pickled radishes, and fresh grown herbs, OR summer tomato and golden beet salad, blackened baby purple carrots seasoned with spicy harissa, yogurt tahini saffron sauce, and homemade farmer’s cheese… We will let the summer harvest and our imaginations inform our menus for the week.

Lunch and snacks are included in this class. 


COOK! Payment Policies

Registration and Refunds:

A 50% deposit must be paid at the time of registration to reserve child’s space. Balance will be automatically charged on May 18, 2018. For families registering after May 18th, tuition payment will be due-in-full at the time of registration. There is a 10% non-refundable deposit for each class. Refunds, minus the deposit, will be issued for cancellations more than two weeks prior to the start of camp. Cancellations made less than two weeks will only be granted a refund if the space vacated can be filled. There are no prorated fees for any days a participant cannot attend.

Discounts and Financial Aid
Sibling and Multi-class discounts: First child/class tuition will be calculated at full price. Second child/class tuition will receive $50 off tuition.  
Discounts will be automatically applied at the time of check out.
